Many, if not all, Harry Potter fans consider the movies to count as Christmas movies. This isn’t only because of the snow and holiday scenes, it’s also the magic. The Harry Potter franchise is full of magic and wonder, they just feel like Christmas. But there are some movies that feature more holiday spirit than the others. What are the Harry Potter Christmas movies?

Not is Christmas (and presents) acknowledged in this movie, but it’s Harry Potter’s first “real” Christmas. Because we know his aunt and uncle never gave him a good Christmas, and definitely never any gifts. Sorcerer’s Stone gives a snowy winter, presents, and loving friends. And that’s what Christmas is all about, folks. Oh, and let’s not forget the carolers.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

For starters, we have the Christmas party thrown by Horace Slughorn. One holiday party was not enough, Ron invites Harry to his home for Christmas. This is when he begins to bond with Ginny, or so they try to make us believe (sorry, the chemistry was never there for me). Finally, there’s that beautiful scene in the snow with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Like I said, SNOW!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Once again, the Weasleys save Christmas! There is truly not a more loving family. They’ve taken Harry in as one of their own and continue to show him love and kindness each Christmas (and beyond). As much as we want to forget Harry and Cho’s kiss under the mistletoe, we can’t, so we’re including it since there’s no Christmas without a mistletoe.
