When does Quantum Leap return with new episodes in 2023?

Quantum Leap is on its winter break like so many other TV shows on broadcast. When will the revival series return with new episodes in 2023?

The wait is on for new episodes of Quantum Leap. Just like all of broadcast, the series has gone on its winter break. This is pretty standard due to the low live ratings around the end of December and beginning of January.

There is some great news, though. The series is coming back. It was given a full season order pretty quickly, and we recently got great news that the show is coming back for a second season. It’s one of the first shows of the 2022–2023 season to be renewed.

Now we just need to know when new episodes will be on the air. When will we get to see Ben and the team back to find a way to bring him home?

When is Quantum Leap back in 2023?

NBC set the return dates back in November 2022. It was one of the first networks to announce when shows would return in January, and there weren’t too many surprises. As normal, the shows are mostly back in the first week of the new year.

Quantum Leap is one of them. Ben is back on our screens on Monday, Jan. 2. The episode will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT as usual.

Episode 9 is going to be the winter premiere. There are still no details of what to expect in this episode, but we can work things out based on the way the fall finale ended. During the previous episode, Ben got some more of his memories back. He knows that he lept to save Addison. We don’t know what happens to Addison yet, but his decision to risk his life in the past was to save her. Addison needs to deal with that knowledge, while also figuring out what’s going to happen.

There are still many more leaps to go. Ben isn’t limited to just his own lifetime years like Sam Beckett was, and there are still a lot of questions about whether Ben could eventually run into Sam or they can all find a way to get Sam home. Maybe in Season 2?
