What is the movie Subservience starring Megan Fox about?

Transformers actress Megan Fox and Netflix’s 365 Days actor Michele Morrone are co-starring in a new film, Subservience, Deadline reports. The sci-fi thriller will begin production on Jan. 7, 2023 in Bulgaria, according to the news outlet.

S.K. Dale will take charge behind the cameras as director, reuniting with Fox as the two have previously worked together on another movie, the 2021 movie Till Death. According to Deadline, the script is penned by Will Honley and April Maguire.

Producers include Jeffrey Greenstein, Jonathan Yunger, Tanner Mobley, Les Weldon, Rob Van Norden, Yariv Lerner, and Jon Berg, the news outlet shares. Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, and Boaz Davidson serve as executive producers.

So what can we expect to see in the new film? There really aren’t many details yet, but here’s what we know.

According to Deadline, Subservience will follow struggling father (Morrone) who needs help taking care of his house and family. That’s when he decides that aid can come in the form of a domestic SIM (Fox). But she won’t be as nice and caring as he hopes when the SIM gains awareness and turns deadly, the news outlet reports.

Unfortunately not much else is known about the movie yet, including other cast members and a release date, as the production is still in its early stages. Those of you excited to see Fox in a new project will have to be a bit patient as more news and updates are announced!
