Strictly spoilers and results: Who wins the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special?

Strictly Come Dancing made a festive return to TV screens on Christmas Day to entertain audiences with the show’s annual Xmas Special. Needless to say, it was welcomed back with open arms.

As always, the beloved dancing competition has been a fixture of the UK TV schedule for the past three months as it aired all 13 weeks of its twentieth series. That series concluded last week, with the excellent finale that saw the final four couples compete for the Glitterball Trophy. When all was said and done (and danced), however, it was Hamza and Jowita who lifted that trophy in a well-deserved victory.

But Strictly is back for its Christmas Special to make the most wonderful time of the year that little bit more wonderful. And this year’s wonderful line-up ensured viewers were in for a truly wonderful time.

Strictly spoilers and results: Who danced what on the Strictly Christmas Special?

The Strictly Christmas Special features a great line-up of celebrities, including actor Larry Lamb (who is partnered with  Nadiya Bychkova), Coronation Street star Alexandra Mardell (who is partnered with Kai Widdrington), podcaster TV host and author Rosie Ramsey (who is partnered with Neil Jones), DJ and presenter Rickie Haywood-Williams (who is partnered with Luba Mushtuk), singer and Girls Aloud member Nicola Roberts (who is partnered with Giovanni Pernice), and presenter George Webster (who is partnered with Amy Dowden).

There are Quicksteps, Jives, and Waltzes galore, but what are the scores? Here are the live spoilers and results from every dance as they play out:

  • Alexandra and Kai danced the Quickstep – 10, 10, 10, 10 = 40
  • Rosie and Neil danced the Jive – 9, 10, 10, 10 = 39
  • Nicola and Giovanni danced the Waltz – 9, 10, 10, 10 = 39
