Lifetime’s holiday slate is drawing to a close and the network will be ushering in its trademark brand of thrillers and Ripped from the Headlines movies as soon as 2023 arrives. First up is Catfish Killer.
The movie follows a teen by the name of Hannah who is excited about the progress of her senior year. It’s been exactly how she imagined it would be. She’s got her best friends at her side, a supportive mom, and she scored a scholarship to attend Stanford. At first, it seems like nothing could bring Hannah down but then she meets a boy.
The two hit it off in an online chatroom and the teen thinks her budding romance is yet another addition to the wonderful things that keep coming her way in her final year of high school. But it turns out, the situation is too good to be true. Going from great to terrible was not what Hannah had in her senior year plans.

Catfish Killer Lifetime release date
The TV-14 thriller premieres Sunday, Jan. 1 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime. If you miss the premiere, and plan on staying up late, you can catch a re-airing of Catfish Killer on Monday, Jan. 2 at 12:01 a.m. The movie will also be available to stream via mylifetime.com on Monday as well.
