The Rookie returns tonight on ABC! This is a change for season 5 which had debuted in the Sunday slot on the network but has been moved for its midseason premiere.
The move to Tuesdays is a permanent one which means fans of this franchise won’t have to watch The Rookie on Sundays and The Rookie: FEDS on Tuesdays. Instead you’ll be getting a two hour block of the procedural law enforcement dramas followed by a new ABC series by the name of Will Trent. If you’re a fan of all things to do with solving cases, you’re going to want to make this block your Tuesday night staple.
Here’s what time you need to be seated for the new episode of The Rookie.
What time is The Rookie on tonight?
Season 5, episode 10, “The List,” premieres Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023 at 8 p.m. ET. If you miss the episode it’ll be available to stream on abc.com and Hulu on Wednesday.
According to the synopsis, Detective Nyla Harper and James will get caught in the middle of a bank robbery during the episode which will eventually lead the entire team on a citywide manhunt. Talk about a thrilling return!
Elsewhere, Tim and Lucy will be embarking on their first date (finally!) but, of course, it can’t be smooth sailing. A few complications arise for the two while on their date.
Fans can expect another crossover during The Rookie: FEDS midseason premiere with John Nolan making an appearance to help Simone remodel Cutty’s garage into suitable living quarters. Season 1, episode 10, “The Silent Prisoner,” debuts at 9 p.m. on the network and will also be available to stream on Wednesday.
