The time has come for professional football teams, and fans alike, to gear up for the NFL playoffs! The annual event will determine who from the NFC and AFC will square off in the biggest game of the season, Super Bowl LVII, which takes place on Sunday, Feb. 12.

As such, the month of January will be devoted to narrowing the playing field. First up are the six wildcard games that’ll decide which teams are going to face off in the four games that make up the divisional rounds. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles have already been seeded. The teams remaining will be playing to win the six coveted spots left.

The playoffs end with the division championships. Whoever comes out on top will move forward to play in the Super Bowl. Here’s when the playoffs kick off!

When do the NFL playoffs start?

Get ready for Super Wild Card Weekend beginning Saturday, Jan. 14. The first game, played between the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX, will be the start of a packed weekend full of games. You’ll be jumping from channel to channel and game to game with this line-up.

  • Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers – Saturday, Jan. 14 at 4:30 p.m. on FOX
  • Los Angeles Chargers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – Saturday, Jan. 14 at 8:15 p.m. on NBC
  • Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills – Sunday, Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. on CBS
  • New York Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings – Sunday, Jan. 15 at 4:30 p.m. on FOX
  • Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals – Sunday, Jan. 15 at 8:15 p.m. on NBC
  • Dallas Cowboys vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Monday, Jan. 16 at 8:15 p.m. on ABC and ESPN

Championship Sunday
