If you were hoping the comedy is currently available to watch online, unfortunately it isn’t just yet. Shotgun Wedding is set to begin streaming Friday, Jan. 27, 2023 on Prime Video.

The movie centers around Darcy (Lopez) and Tom (Duhamel) who are ready to tie the knot at their destination wedding. The two bring together their lovable but “very opinionated families,” per the synopsis. Though that’s not the only challenge the couple has to face. Both are beginning to get cold feet.

And that’s not even their biggest problem! Darcy, Tom, and their families find themselves in danger when they’re all taken hostage. It’s up to the almost married couple to save their loved ones, that is if they don’t kill each other first, per they synopsis. Will the two be able to get along? Will they still go through with the wedding (if they make it out alive!)? We’ll have to wait and see!

The romantic comedy is directed by Jason Moore, with the script penned by Mark Hammer. Producers on the project include Lopez, Todd Lieberman, David Hoberman, Alexander Young, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina
