Who is playing Monday Night Football tonight, Jan. 23?

The weekend brought yet another round of crazy and unbelievable playoff games as the remaining playoff teams took to the field during the Divisional Round of the playoffs. In total, eight teams played across the weekend in a series of games that left some fandoms shocked and others celebrating the fact that their season remained alive.

When the dust finally settled on Sunday night, another four teams had been eliminated from the playoffs including a few favorites to make it all the way.

Tonight, there will not be a Monday Night Football game which means there are no teams playing on Monday Night. All of the NFL Divisional Round playoff games were hosted on the weekend this week, with no Monday night game added to the mix.

The Monday night game which unfolded during Super Wild Card Weekend on Jan. 16 was actually the final Monday night game of the current NFL season. That’s right, with the playoffs nearing their end, there will be no more Monday night games coming fans’ ways before the season comes to a close.

While disappointing, it’s not too surprising as the Super Bowl and Championship games always unfold on a Sunday. Given those are the only games remaining this season, Monday Night Football will head on a hiatus until the fall when the 2023 NFL season kicks off in late August.
