Who is the host of The Bachelor 2023?
It’s time to jump back into your biggest guilty pleasure reality show, Bachelor Nation, because The Bachelor season 27 premieres tonight! The long-running dating series has been a staple on ABC for years now, and even though some seasons are definitely stronger than others, it’s difficult not to tune in for the latest one. This time around, Zach Shallcross from Gabby and Rachel’s season of The Bachelorette will take center stage as the show’s lead.
Will Zach find true love in the end or will he leave the series heartbroken? We’ll find out in the weeks to come!
The reality franchise has seen some shakeups in recent years, including when long-time host Chris Harrison stepped away from the role. This came after he created controversy by defending former Bachelor contestant Rachel Kirkconnell when she was exposed for racist behavior. After Chris’ exit, the show mixed things up by hiring former Bachelorette stars Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe to host, who were then replaced by former Bachelor Jesse Palmer.
If you’re a casual fan of The Bachelor shows, it might be hard to keep up with the leads and the hosts. We know Zach is the star in season 27, but who’s filling in to host the whole thing?

Just like with the most recent season of The Bachelorette, Jesse Palmer will return to host The Bachelor season 27. The 44-year-old former NFL player seems excited to be back, sharing a photo of himself and Zach on the first night of the season on his Instagram page. He captioned the shot: “Well this is gonna be fun… [rose emoji],” before reminding his followers what time they can tune in for the premiere.
The Bachelor season 27 premieres on ABC at 8:00 p.m. ET, with the first episode scheduled to run for two hours long. We’ll get to meet the 30 women vying for Zach’s love tonight, so you don’t want to miss it!
