The Bachelor Season 26 returned after a controversial season the year before. Who ended up walking away with the final rose in 2022?

We’re getting ready for a new season of The Bachelor. Before we get into Season 27, we want to take a look back at who won in 2022. Clayton Echard had a chance to find love, but who did he choose and are they still together?

Reality Steve had says that Clayton would choose Susie Evans. We were pretty confident that was going to be the case. Every season, Steve has managed to get things right. He has a knack for finding the spoilers. Did Evans end up winning?

Who won The Bachelor Season 26?

In the end, Susie Evans did get the final rose, but there was a huge twist. You see, Steve had also said that Susie would be eliminated in third place. How would that work?

The final Rose Ceremony was actually between Gabby and Rachel. Clayton told both that he loved them, and they ended up agreeing to stay and meet Clayton’s parents. It was during this time that Clayton realized he still had feelings for Susie.

He decided to talk to Susie about it, and she agreed to come back and meet Clayton’s parents. He ended up choosing Susie at the very end, telling Gabby and Rachel the truth separately in their hotel rooms. Rachel was sad, and Gabby was angry. It went down pretty much the way we expected it as it all started to play out.

Clayton planned to propse to Susie at the Final Rose Ceremony, but Susie stopped him. She made it clear that she wasn’t in love with Clayton and walked away, leaving Clayton still a single man in The Bachelor 2022.
