Dr. Scott Corbett has a successful career and a family that appears perfect from the outside looking in. However, in reality, his son Hunter is troubled and Scott’s wife, Lynn, refuses to see the signs of the dangerous slope their child is slipping down.
When Scott learns that Hunter is planning to attack his school, he takes matters into his own hands which is how he finds himself standing trial. Each episode of Accused is told from the perspective of the defendant and slowly reveals, through flashbacks and the present day plot, how the situation has escalated to this point in the defendant’s life.
Episode 2, “Ava’s story,” centers on a woman who intervenes when the family she’d provided surrogacy services to intend to get a surgical procedure done on their baby who is deaf. Ava, who is also deaf, feels it’s her duty to intercede on behalf of the child.
Accused is an anthology series that explores topical issues being discussed in America. Viewers can anticipate storylines that take place in a new city, and with an entirely new cast, every episode. How long will the season be? Here’s what we know!
How many episodes are in Accused season 1?
According to FOX, the show’s freshman run will include15 stories in total which means season 1 is 15 episodes in length. While the series did premiere on Sunday, Jan. 22, it’s regular time slot is Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET. The first half of the season is likely to run uninterrupted through February.
