It already feels like 2023 is moving at lightspeed. Unsurprisingly, Disney+ has had a solid start to the new year.

With a bunch of new shows added and more coming within the next month, there is much to be excited about. In particular, it will be fun to see if Disney pulls anything together for Valentine’s Day.

Regardless, the streaming platform is still one of those where you can find a bit of everything, no matter what your interest or ages are. I just recently watched Bear in the Big Blue House with my nephew and then switched to Bluey which is two vastly different shows yet for the same age group.

Either way, if you’re looking for something to help start your weekend or help soothe those Sunday blues, these new Disney+ additions are worth keeping track of.

New Disney+ shows and movies to watch

Aside from some new TV episodes and a few specials that aren’t classically Disney, there isn’t a ton to be said about this week’s lineup. However, if you have a little one at home, they might be happy with what was added.

  • Bloody Tales of Europe, Season 1 (January 25)
  • Dino Ranch, Season 2 episodes (January 25)
  • Hacking the System, Season 1 (January 25)
  • Riding Britain’s Railways, Season 1 (January 25)
  • Mila in the Multiverse (January 25)
  • National Treasure: Edge of History, Episode 8 (January 25)
  • Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Season 2, Episode 5 (January 25)
  • American Blackout (January 27)
  • Challenger Disaster: Lost Tapes (January 27)
  • T. Rex Autopsy (January 27)

Heading into this weekend, there are always new episodes of Disney+ originals to enjoy along with a surprising amount of dinosaur content. Either way, for the most part, a lot of this week’s releases are more focused on padding out some of the platform’s non-Disney assets. Regardless, you should be able to find something you might enjoy or get caught up on a show so that’s something.
