Much of today’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful rehashed what we know. Katie’s not willing to let her ex-husband make a life with Sheila. The infamous woman once again asserted her place in Bill’s life while he stood by silently, only discovering his tongue once he and Sheila were alone. Taylor wanted to turn herself in while Steffy, and Hope this time, made the case for why that’s a bad idea.

The soap only heated up when Katie carried herself over to the Cliff House to demand answers. Tired of what she believes to be Sheila playing with Bill’s heart, she wanted know what’s being held over Steffy and Finn’s heads to keep the family’s nemesis out of jail. Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait for the next episode to see Katie be shocked by the news.

Her full reaction has been reserved for the next installment of our soap, but the fact that the secret is out has us anticipating what she’s going to say. Until we’re let in on that bit of juicy storytelling, here’s a recap of what transpired today!

What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful?

If you bet Katie wouldn’t manipulate Bill into walking away from Sheila, you bet right. When he pressed her about trying again as a family if he put Sheila back in jail, Katie admitted that she didn’t mean that they’d be reunited romantically. She insists that he puts Will first and think about the consequences of his actions, but she didn’t use that as a means of tricking Bill into making the right choice for the Forresters, Logans, and in her mind, the Spencers.

Sheila entered the room before the two could continue talking. Ever the lady of the manor, Sheila politely offered Katie tea to which she declined in disgust. Once again, Bill was silent as the two women traded barbs. He didn’t stick up for his new lady love, but he also didn’t say anything on Katie’s behalf. He just stood there, letting Sheila cling to him.

Katie vowed that she won’t be giving up on Bill. She doesn’t believe Sheila is capable of love and essentially sees her as monstrous for accidentally shooting Finn, purposefully shooting Steffy, and leaving them both to die all while claiming to love them. Sheila paints her and Bill as kindred spirits, but Katie isn’t buying it and she said as much before departing.

When they were alone, Bill and Sheila cuddled on the couch. Noticing the insecurity in Sheila’s words, Bill assured her that he’s committed to their relationship. He admitted to getting caught up in the memories, but he knows his place is with her. It was exactly what Sheila needed to hear even if the rest of us are skeptical. Would Bill leave her if Katie welcomed him back with open arms? It’s not a certainty, but it for sure isn’t improbable.

Back at Forrester Creations, Steffy and Hope continued their talk about Sheila. They were joined by Charlotte, who we haven’t seen in sometime, and Taylor. Charlotte even gave her two cents on Sheila’s release, believing that anyone who puts a bullet in someone else should be jailed. She left with a happy smile after being directed to cancel an appointment with an Eye on Fashion reporter. Yes, that aside was Steffy taking a shot at Bill’s business connections with Forrester. Perhaps it’s about to get frosty between Spencer Publications and the fashion firm.

Charlotte’s words sent Taylor on another shame spiral. She desperately wants to turn herself in, but Steffy and Hope told her that’s not a good idea. As she keeps having to be reminded, admitting to her crime would guarantee her jail time, but it wouldn’t automatically mean Sheila will be locked up, too. Bill could buy another judge if he wants.

Taylor’s guilt followed her to the Cliff House where she was saddened by how her actions have put her daughter in this awful predicament. She headed upstairs, leaving Steffy to her own thoughts until Katie showed up.

Fired up from her interaction with Sheila, Katie wanted to know what information Bill is blackmailing Sinn with. She was adamant that it couldn’t be as complex as Steffy’s making it out to be and wasn’t deterred by the sheer panic on her face.

Overhearing the conversation, Taylor made her way downstairs and answered Katie’s insistent question. She shot Bill and that’s what he’s using as leverage to keep Sheila out of jail. Katie, of course, was shocked. But will that rise to anger? I sure hope so!

Until next time, Bold fans. Stay beautiful!
