It’s hard to have a favorite ghost on the new CBS series. Thorfinn is certainly a great character, though. Who plays Thor on Ghosts?
Thorfinn is the oldest ghost at Woodstone Manor and is based on Robin in the British version of the series. We learn a little about his past and his death throughout the episodes, including the fact that he was struck in the head by lightning, which killed him. He was abandoned by his fellow Vikings, and nobody knows why that happened.
We’ve seen Thor learn a lot over the episodes. He has also found a way to share his feelings with Flower, and it looks like the two will be heading on a date very soon. That’s going to be exciting!
In the most recent episode, we nearly lost Thorfinn and Flower. The two were sucked into a machine that would trap and eviscerate ghosts. Fortunately, Jay helped to find a way to save them, and we got to see both ghosts (and Pete, who helped to save them) return.
Who plays Thor on Ghosts?
Of course, fans want to know more about the actors who portray the various characters. Thor is played by Devan Chandler Long in the U.S. series.
Long has always entertained his peers. It’s not surprising that he’s landed such a charismatic and hilarious character on the CBS comedy series.
This is Long’s first major role in a TV series. He’s been acting on TV since 2011, usually playing individual roles in episodes. He was “Henchman” in NCIS: Los Angeles, Gary in an episode of General Hospital, and “White Guard” in Sons of Anarchy.
Bosch gave him a bigger role. For six episodes, he played Hart in 2019. He also played Kincaid in three episodes of Runaways, and was Flex Mentallo in four episodes of Doom Patrol. We’re certainly ready to see what’s to come after the latest comedy series, but we want to see the resident spirits for quite some time before we have to worry about that.
Ghosts airs Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on CBS. Catch up on Paramount+.
