Looking forward to new Netflix romantic movies premiering on the streamer this year? We are, too! When the full film slate dropped, we had to see what’s on deck for subscribers like ourselves who love to indulge in a good romance be it comedic or dramatic.

In 2023, you can expect 10 to hit the streamer over the course of the year. The first of which, You People, dropped Jan. 27 and is Kenya Barris’ feature directorial debut. The movie stars Jonah Hill and Lauren London as two people from different backgrounds who fall in love and then have to contend with how their family’s react to their relationship. It also stars film legends Eddie Murphy and Nia Long.

February’s offering, Your Place or Mine, premieres Friday, Feb. 10 and stars Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher as best friends who decide to swap lives and houses to help shake up the worlds they know and hopefully learn something about themselves. So, as you can see, we’re starting the year out with romcoms to warm the heart.

In April, subscribers can anticipate the release of A Tourist’s Guide to Love which will see Rachel Leigh Cook as a travel executive who goes on an undercover assignment in the aftermath of a break-up. As she tours Vietnam, she’ll find love again and learn to veer off the beaten path.

After this romance’s premiere, we could be waiting until June for another Netflix original in the romance genre to drop on the platform. That’s when The Perfect Find starring Gabrielle Union releases. She’ll play a woman who’s counting on a career bounce back that could be ruined by a secret and risky relationship she’s courting.
