The Perfect Match has arrived on Netflix, and it is going to be the most talked about thing on the internet for the next three weeks. We had the chance to interview cast members Francesca Farago, Georgia Hassarati, Joey Sasso, and host Nick Lachey about the series.

Perfect Match brings together stars from our favorite reality series into one location where they will try to find their perfect match. Throughout each episode, the singles that couple up will be challenged through competition, strategy, and manipulative people to see if they are compatible enough to make it to the end. The series kicks off with four episodes on Valentine’s Day, four on Feb. 21, and the final four will be available on Feb. 28.

When I tell you that this is hands down one of the best reality series that we’ve seen yet, I mean it. The twists and turns through each episode will have your jaw on the floor. On top of that, just like any reality show, you will have your favorite and least favorite characters while rooting for your favorite couple to try to win it all. I loved how they brought people back from the other shows, and the fun addition to things like the boardroom made the entire show spicy.

I jumped at the opportunity to sit down with the stars of the series to pick their brains on their gameplay, find out what went down behind the curtains, and see what some had to say about becoming the next reality show villain.

I sat down with Perfect Match cast members Francesca Farago, Georgia Hassarati, Joey Sasso, and host Nick Lachey to discuss the upcoming reality series.

Check out the video version of the interview here.

Nick Lachey and Perfect Match cast and talk about the Netflix reality series

Joey, you and Kariselle became very easy to root for. But take me back to that initial feeling of when you first saw her arrive on Perfect Match

Joey Sasso: I remember it clear as day. I was like, this is all happening for a reason. I’m the type of guy that if I’m feeling some type of way, I’m gonna let everyone know it, I’m not gonna hold it in. I wanted to let everyone know, go ahead, shoot your shot, but that’s who I’m going for. I do have a history with her, no secrets, nothing like that.

And I think that this show was a phenomenal opportunity for us to really put our relationship to the test, work through a lot of things from the past and really see what the future could be for us. So, for that, it’s a 10 out of 10 experience, man.

Francesca, all of these reality shows tend to have some villains in them, when people watch this, I have a feeling you might become public enemy number one, what do you think about that and how would you respond to that?

Francesca Farago: I mean, I don’t think I did anything to deserve the public enemy number one title that would depend on the edit. So it just, I guess, I haven’t seen the show yet. So if that’s my title, I’ll just own it and I’m going to own what I said. But yeah, I don’t love that for me, obviously.

Georgia, what kind of expectations did you have for the experience and did you expect to find yourself matching with Dom?

Georgia Hassarati: I didn’t have the highest expectations because of Too Hot To Handle. I feel like the people in that show weren’t really people that I connected with. So I was kind of like it could be similar to that, but I was hopeful that the people in Perfect Match would be more my kind of people and that they would have qualities that I was looking for in a partner.

Nick, the boardroom was a nice little twist to the show, what were your thoughts seeing Francesca not only once but twice throw curve balls while inside?

Nick Lachey: Francesca’s one of my favorites on the show, and I think she’s probably gonna be a fan favorite. You never quite knew what Francesca was thinking about when Francesca was thinking, but you knew there was always an agenda behind it. You never quite knew exactly what that agenda was gonna be though.

It was really interesting to watch how not just her but how it all played. I mean, you could easily take that opportunity if you control the board to bring in, you know, another couple or another couple of singles to upset a couple that you thought was a threat, or was threatening or bringing someone for your, you know, for yourself.

To your point, that’s the element of this show that’s unlike any other show that I’ve seen. You’ve got attraction, you’ve got emotion, you’ve got all those things, but then you’ve also got this gameplay element, this strategy element, and how you decide to attack that, or use that to your advantage, is a really cool kind of dynamic to this whole thing.
