The third season will see the return of the titular character of course, played by actor Jason Sudeikis. Ted Lasso season 3 is set to premiere Wednesday, March 15, 2023 with the first episode on Apple TV+. Going forward, one new installment will continue to be released weekly until the finale, which will be on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. There will be a total of 12 episodes.

Those of you who are eagle-eyed fans may have noticed a day change of when new episodes will drop. Historically, the sports comedy-drama has had Friday premieres and weekly releases. But going into the new season, you’ll have to schedule watching the show midweek. What do you think about this switch up?

Season 3 will see the team, AFC Richmond, face “ridicule” as the media predicts they will come in last at the Premier League, per the synopsis. Plus, there’s the fact that Nate (Mohammed) is now working for Rupert (Head) at West Ham United. Ted (Sudeikis) will of course be dealing with “pressures at work,” while there’s some personal challenges that arise for him back home as well. And Rebecca’s focus will be on beating Rupert and Keeley (Temple). Things aren’t looking too good for the team, but they’re going to try their best anyway, according to the synopsis.
