Magnum P.I. season 5 cast: Who’s in the new season?

Magnum P.I. returns Feb. 19 on NBC for its fifth season! That’s great news for fans who’ve been anxiously awaiting the new season, which they almost didn’t get. The series had been cancelled by CBS back in 2022, leaving the question of its return up in the air until NBC swooped in and picked the series up in the 11th hour.
Now viewers can count on more adventures with Thomas Magnum and Juliet Higgins. Season 5 will consist of 20 episodes broken up into two parts. Originally, when the season was announced, the reporting around the pick up suggested Magnum P.I. had been saved for a fifth and sixth season consisting of ten episodes each. However, that’s not the case.
But don’t worry, with the fanbase this show has, we don’t doubt it’ll return for a season 6 as well. For now though we’re concentrated on what season 5 has in store. Its premiere will be a two hour event that’ll see Magnum and Higgins weighing the risks of a romantic relationship together in one episode and in the next they’ll be doing their best Baywatch impression as they go undercover as lifeguards to solve a murder case.
