The weekend is in full swing and Saturday night is nearly upon us, which means it’s almost time to settle in to enjoy an episode of NBC’s long-running late-night sketch comedy series, Saturday Night Live. There’s no better way to end a Saturday than with some laughs courtesy of the SNL cast, regardless of whether the show is new or in rerun mode.

Who is hosting Saturday Night Live tonight, February 25?

Tonight’s new SNL will be hosted by actor Woody Harrelson, who will be joined by musical guest Jack White. Harrelson’s latest SNL hosting stint comes ahead of the release of his newest film Champions, which centers around a “former minor-league basketball coach who is ordered to help coach a team of players with intellectual disabilities. He soon realizes that despite his doubts, together, this team can go further than they ever imagined.”

The film is set to open in theaters on March 10, making Harrelson’s SNL hosting gig this week the perfect way to start building hype for the film!

How many times has Woody Harrelson hosted Saturday Night Live?

Woody Harrelson is no stranger to hosting SNL and will be joining an elite group with his Feb. 25 hosting stint as he joins the five-timer club! That’s right, the Feb. 25 episode of SNL will mark Harrelson’s fifth time hosting SNL. Harrelson made his SNL hosting debut in season 15 and returned as host in season 17, season 40, season 45, and, now, season 48.
