The series is an adaptation of the beloved book by best-selling author Taylor Jenkins Reid. On the page this tale is one about vices, salvation through love, and more. The on-screen plot is similar, but the world Reid created comes to life before your eyes. The series takes places in the ’60s and ’70s, and catches viewers up with the former band in the ’90s.
