The Mandalorian season 3 release schedule: When do new episodes come out?

The Mandalorian season 3 is finally here! We’ve been waiting since the season 2 finale in Dec. 2020 for more episodes from this series. While we did get some satisfying storytelling around Din Djarin and Grogu’s arcs in early 2022, there’s nothing like seeing the two in their own series again.
How will Mando resolve to redeem himself for taking off his helmet? Can he and Grogu really go to Mandalore and bathe in the waters from the mines? Who’s going to stand in their way? All these questions and more will be answered by the third season.
How long will we have with the two before the series goes back on hiatus? Here’s what we know about the release schedule!
The Mandalorian season 3 release schedule
The Mandalorian season 3 premiered Wednesday, March 1 on Disney+ with its first episode. It was not a multiple episode release and fans can’t expect more than one episode to release weekly either. Since the third season has an eight episode count, we’ll be on this ride with two of our favorite Star Wars characters for the next two months.

- Episode 1: “Chapter 17: The Apostate” – Wednesday, March 1
- Episode 2 – March 8
- Episode 3 – March 15
- Episode 4 – March 22
- Episode 5 – March 29
- Episode 6 – April 5
- Episode 7 – April 12
- Episode 8 – April 19
These couple of months are sure to go fast as we join Mando and Grogu on their journey to see if Mandalore truly can be reclaimed. If you’re wondering if you’ll be waiting in renewal/cancellation limbo in regards to a season 4 for The Mandalorian, don’t worry. Our sister site, Dork Side of the Force, reports the fourth season is ready to be filmed and that it isn’t going to be the final season of the series.
