Fans don’t have to wait any longer as their favorite reality TV show comes back to CBS tonight. The Survivor 44 premiere will look to match its predecessors with a two-hour episode, but there’s plenty to look forward to based on the initial trailer into the season. Not only does a player fall while attempting to rock climb, there’s a clear emergency during one of the challenges.

“Everybody stop,” shouts host Jeff Probst. “Medical! Still with us, right?”

Viewers also hear the on-sight doctor (presumably), “Can you open your eyes for me?”

No one wants to see a player hurt, but the question now remains: Will we see this terrifying sequence play out during the Survivor 44 premiere?

When will the Survivor 44 premiere air on CBS tonight?

Not only do fans want to see good gameplay, they want to make sure players are looked after and hopefully able to stay in the game after any sort of injury. Whether or not we’ll see players fall or bash into one another, it’s clear something dramatic happens during the course of this season. Not only that, the Survivor 44 cast will look to create their own unique story from the show’s most recent seasons.

Survivor 41 and 42 saw new twists, while Survivor 43 made changes or completely removed some of them after listening to fan feedback, especially regarding the hourglass and “Do or Die” twists. After last season showcased a new twist where players gained a hidden immunity idol after taking specific beads from their tribemates, it will be interesting to see what kind of changes have been made since last season.

On top of that, fans will probably be wondering if there will be one or two players voted out during opening night. Or will one player be eliminated from competition because of a medical evacuation? Fans won’t have to wait too long to find out since the Survivor 44 premiere will land on CBS Wednesday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET.
