“Pilot” – Inspired by James Cameron’s hit action/comedy film of the same name, TRUE LIES follows Harry Tasker (Steve Howey), a first-class international spy for U.S. intelligence agency Omega Sector, and his wife, Helen (Ginger Gonzaga), a language professor bored with her daily routine, who makes the shocking discovery that her seemingly ordinary husband is leading an extraordinary double life. With the secret out, Omega recruits Helen, who impresses everyone with her formidable skills (thanks to Tae Bo and yoga), and she joins Harry and his team of top-notch operatives, embarking on covert missions around the globe and an exhilarating life of danger and adventure – all while keeping their adventures a secret from their children. The renewed bond between them adds much-needed sizzle to the Taskers’ emotionally distant marriage and upends the top-secret world of Omega Sector. But, as Harry says, if you’re going to save the world, you might as well do it for the ones you love, on the series premiere of TRUE LIES, Wednesday, March 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and available on the CBS app and streaming on Paramount+. We’re going into March and looking forward to more TV shows that are premiering in the midseason. This includes True Lies, a spy series on CBS.

The series centers on Harry Tasker and his wife, Helen Tasker. Helen is a language professor and unaware of her husband’s secret life as a spy with the intelligence agency, Omega Sector. When she finds out about Harry’s secret life, she’s brought in to work with the agency.

True Lies will premiere on Wednedsay, March 1. It looks like this will be an exciting new venture for the CBS network, especially with lead stars Steve Howey and Ginger Gonzaga. When the show makes its debut, we will get to meet the Taskers and what their lives are like in secrecy. The synopsis for the “Pilot” episode follows:

Based off the James Cameron movie of the same name, from the looks of the show so far, it seems like it will have some fun, comedic moments while also diving into action and adventure.

The new series will also star Annabella Didion, Omar Miller, Mike O’Gorman, and Lucas Jay. In addition, Bevery D’Angelo will appear as Director Trilby, who runs the Omega Sector.
