The story takes place across two timelines. We start in 1996 where a team of high school girls from the school’s soccer team go to Seattle for a national tournament, per the synopsis. While they’re flying back home to New Jersey, the plane crashes in the wilderness.

Those who are still alive have to find ways to stay that way, and at times those ways turn savage. The group is stranded for 19 months and 25 years later in 2021, we see how the event still impacts the survivors’ lives. And they may have brought the darkness back with them, per Showtime.
