The Bold and the Beautiful recap (March 3): Sheila cheats on Bill
By Sabrina Reed
Uh oh, looks like there’s trouble in paradise for Shill on The Bold and the Beautiful. March 3’s episode revealed that the honeymoon phase of their relationship is over…at least for Sheila. Apparently, Bill’s a little too in touch with his emotions these days, and his lady love has become exasperated by it. Also, he’s begun to notice that his feelings may be stronger than hers.
Bill continued to let Liam air his grievances about his romance with Sheila on Friday, patiently putting up with his son’s less than glowing perception of the life he’s living with the families’ sworn enemy. Bill did share, however, that he’s unsure about the depth of Sheila’s care for him, and if she feels how he does.
Liam used this as an opportunity to question his father on what he’d do if he ever found out that Sheila has been using him just like everyone has assumed she is. His response? That as long as she’s good to him, he’ll be good to her. If she’s not, well, Sheila Carter will rue the day she made a fool out of Bill Spencer.
Bold and the Beautiful recap (March 3)
Considering what she was doing at Deacon’s apartment, that day is likely coming sooner than either of them think. Sheila’s very aware that she owes Bill her freedom and her respect. She’s one bad move away from ending up right back behind bars, but she can’t seem to leave Deacon alone. She misses him, and she admitted that she can’t stand being with Bill any longer.
While Bill adores the fact that she’s ready with a tumbler of liquor when he comes home from work and he enjoys their times spent talking, Sheila is talked out. He constantly wants to know what she’s thinking, and asks often as if he wants to know everything about her. It’s begun to rub her the wrong way and, obviously, it keeps pushing her closer to Deacon.
Her time living at his apartment meant a lot to her. Sure, they argued quite a bit about the possibility of her getting caught, but they also laughed together. She was satisfied by Deacon in and out of the bedroom, and they have a spark that she’s been unable to replicate or even come close to with Bill.
It seems Sheila’s found her new obsession. One so strong that she’s rarely thought about her son Finn and grandson Hayes. It’s powerful enough to have her making reckless decisions like kissing her former paramour with a clear implication of more to come and sharing that the only way she’s going to get through having to live with Bill is by carrying on with him.
Sheila’s inability to let Deacon go could be her downfall, but their relationship might be the loveliest way for the two to burn since they care so deeply for one another.
Over at Forrester Creations, Hope had a big decision to make but, unfortunately, she’s yet to make it. She was still reeling from the total 180 Steffy made regarding her brother Thomas. Hope reminded the Co-CEO that she had been open to Thomas rejoining her line weeks ago and that it was Steffy that dissuaded her.
While she did acknowledge the truth of Hope’s statement, Steffy also noted that the situation had changed and that it’s her belief that there is no Hope for the Future without Thomas as lead designer. The choice, of course, is in Hope’s hands.
Steffy and Taylor exited the room to give the two co-parents and former colleagues the opportunity to talk through the decision that needed to be made.
Thomas once again apologized, but Hope was on the fence about giving him yet another chance. She wants him to turn over a new leaf, it’s all she’s ever wanted from him but, as she put it, wanting something and it actually happening are two different things. Still, she doesn’t want her line to be ripped from her so she’s in a jam with no good options.
In their own private moment, in the other room, Taylor thanked Steffy for supporting Thomas and putting him a position to reclaim what he lost at work. She’s of the mind that Steffy’s decision was one born from the hope of her brother’s new path and a desire to help him. That it wasn’t just a business decision. Steffy didn’t deny her mom’s perspective, but I still think it was simply a choice she made for the betterment of the company with the added bonus of it being good for her brother.
Hopefully, whether Thomas comes back to work on Hope’s line isn’t a plot the soap lingers on for long. Either Hope agrees that their partnership isn’t one they should squander considering the praise they’ve received as a creative duo and because she could lose what’s become her life’s work, or she denies him and goes through the painful process of losing something she loves. The choice isn’t an easy one, but it’s also not one we need to spend weeks on.
