When is the Will Trent season 1 finale on ABC?
By Sabrina Reed
Will Trent has been enthralling its audience since the beginning when ABC’s latest procedural drama introduced viewers to the eponymous special agent. Our lead is a special agent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation whose close rate with cases is unparalleled.
At the start of the series, Will primarily worked alone. He wasn’t well liked by local PD because of his work uncovering a corruption conspiracy that put beloved cops out of work and off the force, including the mother of his soon-to-be partner Faith Mitchell. It’s because of this, he and Faith don’t initially get along, but with each case they’ve grown closer.
The two support one another, complimenting each other’s strengths and being there to assist when the other needs help. Whether that’s Will’s struggles with his dyslexia or Faith’s newly diagnosed diabetes.
TVLine reports that fans can only expect a 13 episode run for the show’s freshman season. Given the episode count, when will the season finale air on ABC? Here’s what we know!
When is the Will Trent season 1 finale?
Updated: April 6, 2023 – The season 1 finale will air Tuesday, May 2 at 10 p.m. ET
Despite Will Trent not having an episode order of 20-22 episodes, we’ll likely to be into May before season 1 draws to a close. Episode 9, “Manhunt,” premieres Tuesday, March 21 at 10 p.m. ET. It’s doubtful the series will run uninterrupted for five weeks. However, if it does, the finale will premiere on April 18. We’ll keep you posted on an exact premiere date.
Has Will Trent been cancelled?
Currently, the series is sitting on the bubble, which means it has neither been cancelled nor renewed. We may be waiting until after the finale airs to learn the show’s fate.
