Daisy Jones and The Six premiere Friday, March 3 on Prime Video. We were introduced to the biggest band in the land on the series, the eponymous rock and roll group who swept the globe by storm in the ’70s before they fell apart.

So far the show has concentrated on the origins of their personal music journeys, how they found their way to being performers, and what it was like to get a taste of fame. With Daisy and Billy paired up as songwriters and the band finding a new groove with the both of them, we’re sure to be in for quite a treat as the series continues to release episodes.

However, the series opener said the band parted ways in 1977, and we’re steadily heading toward that point in the band’s timeline. Can fans of Daisy Jones and The Six expect another season of this story or is this season the sole one.

Is Daisy Jones and The Six a limited series?

Yes. The series is based on the book of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Like the best-seller, this adaptation was designed to tell the totality of the band’s story with one body of work. There isn’t a sequel to Reid’s work, even though it is a part of a literary universe where minor characters appear in other books, so Daisy Jones and The Six‘s ten episode run is all we’ll have with this band and their loved ones.

With episodes 4-6 available to stream on March 10, there will be four episodes left to view. Episodes 7-8 debut on March 17 and episodes 9-10, marking the end of the series, premiere March 24. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote for more Daisy Jones and The Six news and coverage!
