There is no denying the power of Disney. Disney+ is just one example of that yet that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Even before Disney+, the company was always changing the game. In particular, Disney Channel was one of its massive properties and it still is. However, some of the biggest names in Hollywood came out of the Disney machine.

That’s why this week’s batch of releases is so exciting as we’re seeing the return of a Disney queen in her own right. As with last week, there’s also some Star Wars content to look forward to and frankly, you shouldn’t be bored this weekend at all.

Regardless of what you’re in the mood for, Disney+ should have you covered so let’s take a look back at this past week’s releases.

New on Disney+

If you’re looking for a weekend fix, then Disney+ is the perfect place to start looking especially if you’re excited about Miley Cyrus’ new album.

  • Africa’s Deadliest seasons 2-5 (March 8)
  • Chibiverse season 1 (March 8)
  • Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur season 1 episodes (March 8)
  • Mpower, All episodes streaming (March 8)
  • Spidey and His Amazing Friends season 2 episodes (March 8)
  • Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 2, episode 12 (March 8)
  • Star Wars: The Mandalorian Chapter 18 (March 8)
  • Chang Can Dunk (March 10)
  • Miley Cyrus – Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions) (March 10)

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m SO excited to see Miley Cyrus make a return to Disney. She was such a huge part of the late ’00s and early 2010s so seeing her perform a new album via the platform is amazing. Even if you don’t love Miley, there are definitely some fun new additions from the past week including new TV episodes and some originals.

Maybe we’ll see other former Disney stars follow Miley’s path and give us a Disney+ special. If her special doesn’t interest you, there are still a lot of other shows and movies to choose from. I’m sure you’ll find something on Disney+ to brighten up your weekend.
