Pre-order Millie Bobby Brown’s book Nineteen Steps out Fall 2023

Are you an avid reader? Do you enjoy historical fiction? Then you’ll want to put Millie Bobby Brown‘s debut novel, Nineteen Steps, on your to be read list for the fall. The Stranger Things star, who’s also a producer, has put pen to page to capture a story that publisher William Morrow describes as “[a]n epic story of longing, loss, and secrets [that] introduces an unforgettable, brave young woman and boldly portrays the strength in the power of love.”

Nineteen Steps takes place in 1942 and is inspired by Brown’s own family history. Deadline reports the novel draws from the tragic Bethnal Green Tube Disaster which is considered to be the largest single loss of life in the United Kingdom during World War II. Brown’s grandmother, Ruth, survived the event and the actress has stated that the book is deeply personal to her and that she’s “honored to keep her story alive.”

Millie Bobby Brown’s Nineteen Steps book release date

Nineteen Steps will hit shelves on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023. United States readers can pre-order the book through Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Physical pre-order copies are hardbacks and are upwards of $29.99. The Kindle version is $14.99.
