Sheila expects wedding bells to be ringing soon since she said yes to Bill’s proposal today on The Bold and the Beautiful. While she’d initially pushed back on the idea that he was sincere in his request for her hand in marriage, even going as far as to ask him if he’s playing her, she eventually did agree to become his wife after Bill gave an impassioned speech on all that he’d sacrificed to pursue her.

It was exactly the way Ridge and the FBI agent on their case hoped Bill would handle the situation given one false step and Sheila would be on to them, but I do have to say that I’m hoping Sheila has some kind of card up her sleeve. As she told Bill, she’s smart and perceptive, it’s hard to believe she would just freely admit to killing Jay and Lance without some sort of contingency plan just in case Bill betrays her.

So far, Sheila seems unaware that her man has been scheming to lock her up for murder 1 and she just gave him the means to do it after he pressed her to open up so they could be truly free together. While Jay’s death was an accident, as they’d been struggling and he fell of the balcony during their altercation, Lance’s death was admittedly premeditated. She knew he was allergic to bees when she released some of the insects into his room and made it impossible for him to escape. She watched him die.

Sheila confessed that she’s a murderer more than once in her conversation with Bill, so how she’s going to get out of this mess is lost on me, but I can’t wait to see this survivor wiggle her way out of yet another jam. I suspect she’ll be catching onto Bill’s trap soon since his reaction her confession was to say, “That’s hot,” which was not only wild but also not one that would have came from him. Something’s rotten, Sheila, sniff it out!

The Bold and the Beautiful recap

Meanwhile, at Forrester Creations, Brooke and Katie discussed Thomas being back at the fashion firm. For some reason, Brooke said she was shocked about his return even though she was very much in the loop and told Hope that she wouldn’t object to her former stepson resuming his duties. In any case, the conversation seemed like an excuse to bring up Carter.

The sisters talked about how much of a support he’s been to Katie as she deals with the mess that Bill has created by being in a relationship with Sheila. She doesn’t know what’s gotten into Bill, but it’s drive a wedge between them all and it’s isolated him from his family, which is something Bill brought up himself when talking to Sheila.

Across the hall, Steffy and Finn were getting well acquainted with one another. The good doctor had scheduled off some time to see his wife and the two put it to good use in the main office. Once they’d gotten their fill of one another, their amorous meet up turned serious as they talked about Ridge’s absence in the wake of this Sheila debacle.

Steffy has no idea where her father is or what he’s been up to and it unsettles her since they need him right now. For his part, Finn once again vowed to keep her and their family safe. With the soap heating up, and Sheila’s confession set to be used against her, the Forresters could see Ridge make his return sooner than they think.

Until next time, Bold fans. Stay beautiful!
