What’s leaving HBO Max in April 2023?: The Creed movies and more

Every month we’re all putting together our watch lists based on what’s coming to the streamers we subscribe to, however, it’s also important to compile our lists based on what’s leaving them. There’s always one movie or show we’ve been meaning to get around to viewing that’s set to be departing a platform we use regularly. If there’s something on HBO Max that you’ve wanted to watch that’s not one of the streamer’s original series or movies, you’re going to want to scroll through this list of titles.
The biggest films leaving HBO Max are the Creed films. The third installment is currently in theaters but the first and second movies have had a place on the streamer. However, they’ll be gone by Sunday, April 30. So, while you have some time to watch them on HBO Max, you don’t have long. Other film franchises that are leaving include The Bourne Identity, The Expendables, House Party, Lethal Weapon, The Hangover, Miss Congeniality, and more.
As for movies the whole family can enjoy, you’ll have time to sneak in one (or a few) more watches of LEGO Batman, the Happy Feet films, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Space Jam, Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius, and The Rugrats movies before they leave. You can even make a date of it, a movie marathon with the kids.
Keep reading for the full list of titles leaving in April including what day they’ll be leaving and which version of the title is leaving. For example, there are two iterations of A Star is Born departing HBO Max, however, the 2018 film starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper is not.
