So Help Me Todd returns tonight on CBS after a three week hiatus. Episode 16, “Twelve Worried Persons,” centers on the death of a juror in the middle of a case. It happens during Susan’s first big trial as the lead attorney. Another juror is suspected of foul play and Todd happens to know her.

Amy, the juror who’s in the hot seat, went to the same high school as Todd. She was the Rose Festival queen. Seizing on the opportunity, Todd does get her number, but he’s also going to have to work hard to clear her name considering she could catch a murder wrap if he and Margaret can’t exonerate her.

The character is played by Briga Heelan. She and Sklyar Astin both starred in the TBS comedy Ground Floor together back in 2013. On the show they were love interests, and it looks like So Help Me Todd is capitalizing on their chemistry for a romantic plot for Todd.

Heelan, however, isn’t the only guest star with a key role in “Twelve Worried Persons.” She’ll be joined by Marissa Jaret Winokur. The actress is best known for her Tony award-winning turn as Tracy Turnblad in the Broadway play Hairspray and roles on A Million Little Things, Crashing, and What We Do in the Shadows. Here’s who she plays in tonight’s episode!

Who does Marissa Jaret Winokur play on So Help Me Todd?

Winokur is set to guest star as Sydney, one of Amy’s fellow jurors who’s obsessed with true crime. Sydney may be an asset in episode 16 or she could be an impediment but given her string wall of evidence and her need to investigate, we expect her to jump on this case involving her fellow juror. It’d be a true crime enthusiast’s dream.
