Every month Lifetime has a new slate of movies (and occasionally shows) for viewers to enjoy during their primetime block on the weekend. Often the titles available to watch are a part of a theme which sees Ripped from the Headlines films in the mix with specials, documentaries, and more. We are, however, in an era where many households are cutting the cord.

Lifetime is a cable network and, before the age of streaming, in order to watch the films the channel has on offer, viewers could only be accessed through a television set and via a cable provider. Is that still the case? Is it possible to stream the network’s movies online? Here’s what we know!

Can you watch Lifetime for free?

Yes, you can do so through the Lifetime App. However, without a TV provider log-in (whether that’s cable or satellite), you won’t be able to access the full catalog. The app is available on iOS and android devices as well as Apple TV, Roku, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, Samsung TV.

Is Lifetime on Hulu?

Yes. However, there’s only a select collection of movies, shows, and documentaries on the streamer and it’s not free to watch. You’ll need a Hulu subscription. Plans range from the $7.99/mo. basic subscription with ads to Hulu without ads which is $14.99/mo. to Hulu + Live TV which gives you cable channels along with Disney+ and ESPN+ for $69.99/mo.

Where to stream Lifetime movies and shows

Besides the above options, you can subscribe to the Lifetime Movie Club. For $4.99/mo. you’ll have access to thrillers, new premieres, and hundreds of the network’s classic films and you’ll be able to stream them commercial free.
