School of Rock cast ages: How old was the cast then (and now)?

Jack Black’s School of Rock is one of the best movies ever, and this is not up for discussion. The beloved cult-classic premiered on Oct. 3, 2003, so it’s almost the movie’s 20th year anniversary. Black recently teased a reunion, which I hope we all get to see! After all, the majority of the cast were 10-13 years old at the time the movie premiered. School of Rock follows Dewey Finn (Jack Black), a rock guitarist who gets kicked out of his own band. Left without a job, Finn takes a substitute teaching gig by posing as his roommate. Finn is only in it for the money, but this changes when he discovers the musical talents of the class and decides to start a band and compete in Battle of the Bands.

The band consisted of Finn and his fourth grade students, so, as you can imagine, the kids are all grown up!
