Ahsoka release updates, cast, trailer and more

The highly anticipated (and long awaited) Ahsoka series is coming to Disney+ this year! While we still have some months until the Star Wars show makes its premiere on the streamer, we do have information to share about what and who fans can expect to see.
Unfortunately, plot details are still under wraps but, based on the teaser trailer shared below, the story is set to focus on the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn as the heir to the Empire. In the opening moments of the teaser, Ahsoka states that something dark is coming, likely what she’s feeling is Thrawn.
She’ll have help combating the Empire in this series with her rebel allies Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Ezra Bridger. Also, viewers can likely look forward to an appearance by her former mentor Anakin Skywalker as Hayden Christensen is expected to return, however, it hasn’t been revealed in what capacity he could feature in the series.

Does Ahsoka have a release date?
No, but the series does have a release window. It’s expected to land on Disney+ in August 2023. We’ll keep you posted on an exact release date.
