After the uphill battle of salvaging her career in season 4, Midge is ready for the stardom she’s been reaching for since she decided to make comedy her life.
But, as season 5’s synopsis points out, being close to earning the success you’ve always wanted doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily within your grasp.
