With the end of April fast approaching, series renewals and cancelations are coming in from ABC and all other networks. One of our favorite shows, The Rookie, is still on the bubble as fans anxiously wait for good news. Until that time comes let’s focus on the current season and the upcoming finale. Here’s when the last episode of The Rookie season 5 premieres on ABC.

Season 6 has not yet been confirmed, but we will keep you posted and update this feature as soon as we learn more. For now, we share everything to know about the series season 5 finale so you don’t miss out.

When is The Rookie season 5 over?

At the time of this writing, there are only three episodes left this season, and with how intense things are at the moment, you can expect a season 5 finale with a huge cliffhanger. We love this about The Rookie, though I’m sure it will make us all more anxious if we don’t hear any updates by then.

The Rookie season 5 finale date

The Rookie season 5 episode 22, titled “Under Siege,” airs May 2, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET, Here is the episode schedule for the three remaining episodes of the season:

  • Episode 20 “S.T.R.” — April 18
  • Episode 21 “Going Under” — April 25
  • Episode 22 “Under Siege” — May 2

On May 2, the season finales for The Rookie: Feds and Will Trent are also set to air on ABC. Don’t miss out!

The crime drama is based on real-life Los Angeles Police officer William Norcross, who joined the force in his mid-40s. It stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin Jr., Melissa O’Neil and others. If you are behind on The Rookie, you can stream all episodes on Hulu as part of your Hulu subscription.
