When will The Ark Season 2 premiere on SYFY?
The Ark Season 2 is officially happening. We can go into the finale tonight without worrying about a cliffhanger. We just need to know how long we’ll wait for the new season.
We are certainly more than ready to keep the story of The Ark going. This is a great series about survival and unlikely friendships. It all started with the crew of Ark One figuring out how to survive the initial attack on their ship, and it’s come up to a potential cure for Klampkin’s disease and the hope of being able to settle on a planet.
Going into this episode, we found out the great news that there will be a second season. Pre-production work has started on that season, but we can go into the finale not having to worry about a cliffhanger. The characters won’t be left stranded on that cliffhanger forever.
Now we just need to know how long we’ll need to wait for the answers. When will The Ark Season 2 come to SYFY?
The Ark Season 2 premiere date on SYFY
As of right now, SYFY hasn’t shared the plans for the second season. That’s not too surprising when you consider the finale airs tonight. We don’t get to know the premiere dates of new seasons right away.
We could look at other SYFY shows to get an idea of how long it usually takes. For this, we’ll look at Resident Alien, which brought its first season in January 2021. Season 2 began in January 2022, taking a short break for the second half of the season to drop in August of the same year. There is now a wait for the third season.
This does suggest that a year between seasons is plausible. We could see The Ark Season 2 arrive in February 2024, which would mark a year from the first season.
