The Muppets Mayhem cast: Who’s in the Disney+ series?
Last year, it was announced that a new Disney+ series featuring our favorite muppets would be in development. Now with the series coming up quickly, we’re excited to find out more about what it entails. Who is among the Muppets Mayhem cast?
Before we get into who is starring in the series, what is Muppets Mayhem about? In the show, the Muppet Band is planning to record their very first studio album after decades of performing. However, they must also contend with the modern music scene while having an old school sound.
Actress Lilly Singh will play the role of Nora, who is a junior A&R executive whose job it is to wrangle the Electric Mayhem Band.
The show will also feature the entire band consisting of Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd Pepper, Janice, Zoot, and Lips.
This is the most recent endeavor to bring the Muppets back to television and streaming. ABC had a short lived series in 2015 titled The Muppets for one season while Muppet Babies aired three seasons on Disney Junior.
Muppets Mayhem was created by Adam F. Goldberg, Bill Barretta, and Jeff Yorks. They also serve as executive producers alongside Kris Eber, David Lightbody, Michael Bostick, and Leigh Slaughter.
In addition to Singh, the show will also feature Tahj Mowry as Gary “Moog” Moogowski, who is basically a dedicated superfan of the band who also helps Nora to wrangle the loveable muppets who are part of the energetic crew.
