FOX shows renewed in 2023: Which shows are returning? Which have been canceled?

It’s that time of year again, folks! Networks are putting together their 2023-2024 broadcast schedule. Fans are anxious to learn if their favorite shows will return. Over at FOX, there have already been a couple of heartbreaking cancelations. But, for the most part, several FOX shows have received renewals. 

FOX favorites The Cleaning Lady and Accused have already secured another season, as well as the reality competition So You Think You Can Dance. Not confirmed, but guaranteed to score more episodes, are 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star. A few FOX shows we are still waiting to hear updates on, include Fantasy Island and Call Me Kat. 

Most recently, FOX canceled The Resident, and fans are not happy, but also aren’t too surprised. The network does have another medical drama in the works, Doc, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news in early April.

• Accused has been renewed for season 2
• Alert: Missing Persons Unit is getting a second season
• Bob’s Burgers has already secured season 14 and 15
• The Cleaning Lady season 3 is a go
• Family Guy has already secured seasons 22 and 23
• The Great North is coming back for season 4
• Grimsburg has been renewed for season 2
• Krapopolis will be coming back for season 2 and 3
• Sherri is coming back for two more seasons
• So You Think You Can Dance is coming back with season 18
• The Jennifer Hudson Show season 2 is a go
• The Simpsons has secures seasons 35 and 36
• 9-1-1: Lone Star  renewed for season 5
• Animal Control is coming back for a second season

• Monarch
• The Resident is canceled after six seasons
• 9-1-1
• Call Me Kat
• Fantasy Island

Fox shows on the bubble

• HouseBroken
• Welcome to Flatch

9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star are two shows on the bubble list that we are not worried about. Their renewals are only a matter of time. As for Welcome to Flatch and Call Me Kat, it could go either way.
