Fear the Walking Dead season 8 is now streaming on AMC+ and will air on the AMC network on Sunday, May 14. It’s the final season so the countdown is on! How many episodes are in Fear the Walking Dead season 8?

Walker fans have been anxiously waiting for Fear TWD season 8 to arrive for more reasons than one. Not only did they leave us with a huge cliffhanger, but this is the final season! We’ll get to see how it all ends. It’s a bittersweet feeling for sure.

This season is going to look very different as we’ll see the character living under the rule of PADRE. Morgan and Madison will try to set things right as they believe that there can be a better world. But that’s certainly easier said than done!

How many episodes are in Fear the Walking Dead season 8?

Just as AMC has done before, this season will be split in two parts, there will be a total of 12 episodes. The first six episodes will kick off on Sunday, May 14 (AMC+ subscribers can watch the episodes a couple of days early on Fridays). We’ll get one episode each week until the mid-season finale on June 18. Here’s the episode release calendar so you don’t miss out:

  • Episode 1 “Remember What They Took From You,” May 14
  • Episode 2 “Blue Jay,” May 21
  • Episode 3 “Odessa,” May 28
  • Episode 4 “King County,” June 4
  • Episode 5 “More Time Than You Know,” June 11
  • Episode 6 “All I See Is Red,” June 18

The release date for the second batch of episodes has not yet been announced, but it will be coming out late 2023. As soon as we learn more details, we will update this post!
