Wallace Taylor, and Josh Hamilton is Justin C. Garrick, the FBI agent handling the interrogation. The original play was only three actors, so it makes sense the movie keeps the cast equally tight. This should be interesting to watch!

What is Reality on HBO about?

The film tells the true story of Reality Winner (yes, that is her actual name), a member of the U.S. Air Force in the 2010s and later a translator for the National Security Agency. In 2017, Winner leaked top-secret information regarding Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election to the media. This led to her being put on trial and sentenced to five years in prison.

The film is based on a 2021 Broadway play, Is This A Room. It uses the actual FBI transcripts to focus on the FBI agents interrogating Winner for what she did and why. The film is directed by Tina Satter, who co-wrote it with James Paul Dallas.

The film has already been met with great critical acclaim as it leaves the audience wondering if what Winner did was an act of treason or patriotism.
