With many of our favorite shows reaching their season finales, some pressing information has been revealed for fans of the CBS sitcom Bob Hearts Abishola. The date of the series’ season finale has finally been announced!
The Chuck Lorre-created sitcom Bob Hearts Abishola is about Bob, a middle-aged compression sock businessman from Detroit, who unexpectedly falls for his cardiac nurse, Abishola, while recovering from a heart attack and he tries to win her over while exploring the similarities and differences between American and immigrant life.
The series was renewed for a season 5 but it came with news of a shorter episode order and reduction of the large ensemble cast. According to Deadline, the 13 regular cast members, which include only Billy Gardell and Folake Olowofoyeku will remain as series regulars next season. The others were offered to continue as recurring with a five-episode minimum guarantee. The cast was notified of the changes in April.
Here’s when the season 4 finale will be on CBS.
When is the last episode of Bob Hearts Abishola season 4?
The sitcom features 22 episodes in its fourth season. The finale is set to air on CBS (and stream after on Paramount+) on Monday, May 22. The episode is titled “Uncharted Waters of Mediocrity.”
According to the synopsis, Abishola is awaiting her acceptance letter to her dream medical school in Baltimore but doubt begins to creep in during that period. As for Bob he’ll be facing off against his subconscious once he realizes that he doesn’t want to leave Detroit after all.
Given the casting news above, the decision the couple reach on where they plan to live come season 5 may have already been given away, but you’ll have to watch and see to learn what happens regarding this plot.
