Dark comedy High Desert is now streaming on Apple TV+. Whether you started the show or haven’t yet, you may be wondering how many episodes to expect in the season. Streaming services and broadcast television episode counts can be very different.

The series stars Patricia Arquette as on-again-off-again addict who decides to become a private investigator as she tries to turn her life around following the death of her “beloved mother,” per the synopsis. She lived with her mom in the small desert town of Yucca Valley, California, and that’s where she’s going to start doing her detective work.

Joining her onscreen are Matt Dillon as Denny, Christine Taylor as Dianne, Weruche Opia as Carol, Brad Garrett as Bruce, Bernadette Peters as Rosalyn, Rupert Friend as Guru Bob, and Keir O’Donnell as Stewart. Arquette also executive produces alongside Ben Stiller, with whom she works with on Severance on the streaming service as well.
