The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers (May 22-26): Will Hope follow her heart?

Last Friday on The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope was overheard saying some truly hurtful things about Thomas. It happened during an argument with her mother, Brooke. She’d initially admitted that the one struggling with their feelings was her not Thomas, but she quickly backtracked when Brooke insisted that her daughter remember who he is.

Hope’s response was to say that she knows he’s unstable and manipulative, and that nothing can nor will it ever happen between them. Satisfied, Brooke left the office and then, horrified, Hope found out that Thomas had heard that exchange. Upset that she’d obviously hurt him, she apologized and said she didn’t mean what she said but the episode ended before she got an answer on whether Thomas believed her.

Judging by the spoilers, this week could see progress on the “will-they-won’t-they” that is Thope as Hope wonders if she should seize the opportunity and just tell him how she feels, and Thomas reflects on the possibility that Hope may have feelings for him. Add that on top of Braylor possibly falling apart because of Brooke’s true thoughts on Thomas and his journey to being a better man and it should be an interesting week.

Will Hope pull a Brooke and follow her heart? We have to watch and see!

Steffy levels an accusation against Hope that blindsides her.
