The Voice season 23 was yet another amazing season, albeit a bittersweet one as it marked Blake Shelton’s final season in the show’s big red coaching chairs after 23 seasons of helping to mentor artists.

The season was full of amazing performers from all genres of music with a season that featured four amazing coaches in Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, and Chance the Rapper who each had members of their team represented on finale night!

The season came to a close with an epic finale in which Grace West and NOIVAS from Team Blake, D. Smooth from Team Kelly, Gina Miles from Team Niall, and Sorelle from Team Chance faced off in hopes of becoming the latest artist in a long line of talented singers to win the show.

Going into the season, many anticipated Blake would pick up a win with his farewell season as a coach, but did fate have other plans?

The Voice season 23 winner: Who won The Voice last season?

The first results of the night came with the elimination of Team Blake’s NOIVAS, who finished in fifth place. After NOIVAS was eliminated from the competition, Team Chance’s Sorelle was eliminated coming in fourth place. Team Kelly’s D. Smooth finished in third place, leaving Grace West and Gina Miles as the Top 2 of the season.

After the final vote, the winner of The Voice season 23 was Team Niall’s Gina Miles who helped Niall become the latest coach to win the show during his first season. Gina won out over runner-up Grace West of Team Blake.

Gina Miles’ victory as the season 23 winner, gave Niall his first win as a coach and put him in an elite group of coaches to win their first season on the show.

Who were The Voice 2023 runner-ups?

As in past seasons, The Voice season 23 finale featured a Top 5 all vying for the title of The Voice champion. Also as in past seasons, the results were revealed throughout the final moments of the finale with artists being eliminated one by one until just two were left standing.

NOIVAS was eliminated first, followed by Sorelle and D. Smooth. With Gina Miles named the season’s winner, that meant Grace West finished in second place. Here are the final results from The Voice 2023:

  • First Place: Gina Miles
  • Second Place: Grace West
  • Third Place: D. Smooth
  • Fourth Place: Sorelle
  • Fifth Place: NOIVAS
