The baking series sees competing bakers having to figure out what dessert was made with only small clues like the crumbs left and flour used. Using the tiny pieces of evidence, they have to recreate the sweet for the judges to advance on to the next round based on how well it matches the original dessert and how good it tastes.

Judges Joel McHale, Yolanda Gampp, and Curtis Stone will determine who from the classically trained bakers and self-taught ones are the best at recreating the sweet treats with just a few clues at their disposal. This season, the two types of competitors will be separated in the early rounds. But then eventually, the trained and self-trained bakers will go head to head for the $100,000 prize.
