The situation is tense over on Young and the Restless for viewers tuning into the daytime program. We’re not even out of the ‘Phyllis faked her death’ plot and the soap is already cooking up more mess for these interconnected families to deal with though we can’t say we’re complaining! After all, the next bit of spice added to this already powerful stew is Cameron Kirsten’s return.

The character, played by Linden Ashby, has the hair on our arms standing on end as he’s back to terrorize Sharon once again. Of course, this has thrown Nick into the thick of things due to his long standing grudge against Cameron for trying to ruin the life of his ex-wife and mother of his children. Cameron’s return has some fans wondering if Nick’s days on the soap are numbered and if they’ll have to be saying goodbye to Joshua Morrow’s turn as the character soon.

Is the actor leaving? Here’s what we know!

Is Joshua Morrow leaving Young and the Restless?

As of reporting, there’s no indication that Morrow will be exiting the role. The reason fans are questioning his future on the soap is due to Cameron’s words to Nick the last time he’d been foiled by him and Sharon. According to Soap She Knows, the captured criminal said, “Then you better kill me now, slick, ’cause if I walk out of here, you are dead.”

Time will tell if Cameron intends on making that threat a reality or if he has other plans. His presence, however, is already causing quite the stir on Young and the Restless, and it’s clear he is up to something. What that is has yet to be seen, but we know it’s nothing good.
