Transformers: Rise of the Beasts voice cast: Who voices the Transformers?

The Robots in Disguise are back on the big screen as Transformers: Rise of the Beasts hits theaters this weekend. It will be a huge one as the Autobots and Decepticons are now met by the popular Beast Wars characters. So who will star in this new epic adventure?

Since the 1980s, Transformers has been one of the most beloved franchises in history. Kids of all ages adore the toys and cartoons of alien robots who transform into vehicles, clashing for power on Earth. That was brought to life in 2007 as Michael Bay directed a big-screen movie that was a huge hit.

Since then, there have been five sequels, each upping the ante in big-screen action. The series took a different turn with 2018’s Bumblebee, which was set in the 1980s and returned to the classic look of the 1980s cartoon series. The new film, Rise of the Beasts, is set in 1994 as the Transformers are on Earth.

They soon run into the Maximals, time-traveling Autobots who take on animal forms, inspired by the hit Beast Wars cartoon. Soon, the Transformers and their human allies have to defend Earth from the monstrous Unicron, who wants to feast on the planet.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts cast

As usual, the Transformers are the big draw. For leader Optimus Prime, it’s no shock that Peter Cullen is once more providing the voice, as he’s done for the character since the 1984 cartoon series. He’s matched by Ron Pearlman, who voices Optimus Primal, leader of the Maximals.

Newly minted Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh is Airazor, a female Maximal, while Peter Davidson provides the voice for Autobot Mirage. Peter Dinklage is Scourge, leader of the evil Terracons who fight the Maximals.

For human characters, Anthony Ramos is Noah, an ex-military guy who steals Mirage. Dominique Fishback plays Noah Diaz, a museum worker who joins Noah on his quest. The mix of human and robot characters looks to spark the film up nicely.

With buzz this is a new beginning for the franchise, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts looks to amp things up and be the best big-screen Transformers adventure yet.
